During the singing of the Salve the Provincial, Fr.
Daniel Syverstad, blessed the community with holy water. |

After the Salve a short prayer is offered asking for
Mary's intercession for the lives of the brethren. |

About 70 Dominican Friars were present for the Vestition. |
| 
After the Salve, the friars process to the Cloister Garden
and gather around the statue of St. Dominic to sing the anthem O Lumen
Ecclesiae in honor of Saint Dominic. |

After the O Lumen Ecclesiae was finished, Fr. Anthony
Rosevear, the Master of Novices, offers a prayer asking for Saint Dominic's
intercession. The community then retired to the Community Room for a special
reception party to welcome the new novices to the Province of the Most Holy Name of Jesus |
