The Ongoing Adventures of the Black and White Brigade: The Novice Class of 2002-2003 storm the Southern Part of the Western Dominican Province
Back ] Up ]

IN CONCLUSION—In all the glorious and gory details, this is a small snapshot of our six weeks on the road.  The praying, the preaching, the new-found friends, the old-time companions, the rain and the sunshine—there it is, the Tour of the Black and White Brigade.  Now, of course, if you have any (good) comments and questions about our days on the road, feel free to talk to any of us Novices.   But if we’re in trouble, go ahead and talk to Fr. Anthony.  J  Seriously, though, we cannot thank these communities enough for their generous hospitality over these six weeks.  The food, the shelter, the conversations, the charitable openness of their families, the gifts of love and support—words cannot fully express our gratitude, but perhaps our prayers given and received will lead us all to the holiness of the Lord. So with that in mind, good brothers and sisters, may the grace of the Holy Spirit always be upon you.

In Christ, Mary and Dominic,
The Novices
