| Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament Who's
doing it?
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is a devotion that is once again growing. In
recent years, many Catholic communities have committed to starting an adoration program.
Some have even begun perpetual adoration 24/7. It is not surprising that one
will find even non-Catholics joining in prayer, contemplation, and adoration before the
Blessed Sacrament. Special chapels have been built in some cases. Members of
the faithful have incorporated into their day a holy hour that draws them more intimately
into their relationship with the Lord. Those who have prayers of petition,
reparation, thankfulness, and pure adoration come to the Blessed Sacrament. Below
are some recent news articles and some links around the web. One does not need to
look far to find that adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is happening everywhere through
many Catholic Communities.
