Following Office of Readings, Fr. Roberto Corral, OP, Prior Provincial presided and
preached at Mass with Morning Prayer.9:30 AM
The Provincial meets with the Commission Chairs to prepare some preliminary commission
work.

The Most Reverend John Cummins and the Most Revered Allen Vigneron arrived to meet the
Provincial Chapter. Bishop Vigneron was named the new Coadjutor Bishop of Oakland
yesterday. It was a surprise and delight to receive him at St. Albert's Priory. We are very excited for
Bishop Vigneron and the diocese.
The Chapter recessed for lunch after setting the schedule for Monday. Only the
Provincial and Commission Chairs remained to finish their preparatory work, everyone else
was free until Monday morning. Tomorrow the Chapter rests and celebrates the Lord's
day.
