In a very general
way, here is an account of the day's significant events.
9:00 AM
The Chapter members met in their respective commissions and began the process of
evaluating our legislation. Members of the Province have submitted various petitions
to change, add, or delete legislation. Also members have submitted nominations for
various positions in the Province, e.g. brother X may be nominated for the position of
Province Archivist. All these petitions and nominations must be carefully
considered, and then the existing legislation of our Acta must be reviewed in its
entirety. This process will take a while, but if careful consideration is to be
given, it is necessary. The Chapter members were ready to go after a full days rest.
Each commission recessed for lunch around noon.

1:30 PM
Plenary Session & Executive Session.
The Chapter members began initial discussions on various positions within the Province.
The many Directors, Formators, Officers and Promoters are all eligible for
re-election or re-appointment. These types of discussion will take a week or more to
address.
3:30 PM
Each commission met to resume their work started earlier in the day.
5:00 PM
Fr. Janko Zagar, O.P. presided and preached at Mass today.
