A Tribute to Dominicans that have served in Benicia, California

BENICIA, CA. May 2006

The City of Benicia, CA installed a new decorative street clock this summer in the sidewalk fronting 636 First Street.  This clock was donated by the Benicia Historical Society in honor of the Dominican friars and sisters and for their 150 year history of serving the people of God in Benicia and the greater Bay Area.  The Dominican friars still staff St. Dominic Parish and continue to offer quality education in the parish school, grades K-8.  You can read more of their history by clicking here.
