Christmas Concert

The Schola Cantorum of St. Albert's Priory and the Women's Antique Vocal Ensemble will present their annual Christmas Concert on December 19 at 8pm.

The performance includes music from Worcester Medieval Harmony, Piae Cantiones, Cancionero de Uppsala, Guerrero, Morales, Byrd, Hasse, Palestrina, and Lassus. In commemoration of the 800th Jubilee of the Order of Preachers, Dominican chant and music by Dominican composers will be highlighted.

The concert will also include a sing-along of popular Christmas carols.

The cost for students/seniors is $15, and general admission is $20, payable at the door of St. Albert's Priory Chapel -- 6172 Chabot Road, Oakland.
